microbial activity in the soil. The alfalfa’s extensive root system provides micro nutrients to plants from deep below the earth’
s surface. Typical analysis: 3-4-7 , based on protein.

Blood Meal. Need lots of nitrogen, fast? Choose Blood Meal: a fast-releasing, organic nitrogen source for the plants that
need it. It can also speed decomposition in compost piles. But take note: the product tends to repel deer.

Feather Meal. Crops that need steady, long-lasting nitrogen will love Feather Meal. Because of its low water solubility,

Nitrogen (N) Sources
Bone Meal, Steamed. Use this product as a general application or as a starter fertilizer for new plants and transplants.
Bone Meal is an excellent source of plant-available phosphorus. It also provides calcium and a small amount of nitrogen.

Fertrell Rock Phosphate. This high-carbon rock phosphate is a great source of phosphorous, calcium and essential trace
elements. It also has about one-fifth of lime’s neutralizing power. Because it releases best at a low pH,Fertrell Rock
